This molded clay tile is an ancient  Buddhist prayer set in stone! Tiles of this type were created to bless temples and other buildings, and were often stored by the thousands inside a buildings foundation or architecture. Each tile was molded by a Buddhist monk while a prayer was said over it. This tile depicts a seated Bodhisattva deity, kneeling in a posture of prayer.
